Dr. Joshua Baron, MD

Dr. Joshua D Baron MD is a doctor who has a specialization in Pediatric Neurology and he has a focus in epilepsy, particularly in neonatal epilepsy and the interactions between sleep and epilepsy. He is a registered practitioner and also holds board certification from the member board for Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology. Thus, he has a special expertise in two areas, the first being child neurology and second being epilepsy.

Dr. Joshua Baron’s works have been much aptly met with success as an assisting professor of Pediatrics at the Rush University Medical Center. In addition he is also Attending Staff Physician at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He is a member of Child Neurology Society, American Epilepsy Society, which is a special group of physicians involved in the research of these two specialties. Dr. Joshua Baron has also contributed chapter on ‘Recurrent and Post-Traumatic Hypersomnia’ in the book “Sleep: A Comprehensive Handbook, Wiley-Liss, 2005.
